Science Daily reports of a scientific research project at Western Carolina University that found that sexist jokes aren't simply harmless fun and games, but that exposure to sexist humor can lead to hostility and discrimination against women. The "humorous" T-shirts on sale at Spencer's are not harmless jokes, but are creating a milieu of sexism and sexual violence against women.

It sounds like rape to me...it is not so much of a request as a demand. It promotes degradation and sexual violence against women.
